Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V is available in two tantalizing trims: the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing. The CT5-V sits atop 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a Pearl Nickel finish. You'll also find body-colored power-adjustable mirrors with heating, rocker moldings with extensions, and a body-colored rear spoiler. The Blackwing's 19-inch wheels have a polished Dark Android finish and pair nicely with 19-inch high-performance tires. Other exterior highlights on the Blackwing include illuminating door handles, LED cornering lights, and a front splitter. Both models give you the option of adding an UltraView power sunroof.
Engine (Power)
Cadillac equips the CT5-V with a 3-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine capable of producing 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. With this impressive output, the CT5-V can go from zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. If you go with the CT5-V Blackwing, you can take advantage of a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 that generates 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. The Blackwing can go from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and reach top speeds of more than 200 mph.
Performance
The CT5-V's V-6 engine teams up with a 10-speed automatic transmission that features leading-edge calibration and software that delivers a smooth, seamless experience. With the CT5-V Blackwing, you'll enjoy a six-speed manual transmission that automatically adjusts engine speed to match the anticipated gear selection and allows the driver to shift gears without letting off the gas pedal. The 10-speed automatic transmission is available for the Blackwing if you prefer. Both CT5-V models come with standard rear-wheel drive, or you can equip your CT5-V with the available all-wheel-drive system.
Interior
Inside the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing, you'll find seating for five with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the ride. The CT5-V features leatherette upholstery, while the Blackwing has luxurious leather seating surfaces and allows you to add carbon fiber seatbacks for the driver and front-seat passenger. Available amenities include heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a cabin air ionizer. Both models feature wireless device charging and wireless integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can stream music, get traffic updates, and make hands-free phone calls.
Safety Features
The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V comes with a forward collision alert that scans the road for hazards and applies the brakes if necessary. If you're trying to change lanes and a vehicle is blocking your path, you'll receive a warning from the lane change alert system. Lane keep assist prevents unintentional drifting, while the tire pressure monitoring system helps you avoid driving on unsafe tires. When driving in reverse, the rear cross traffic alert feature will let you know when a vehicle or pedestrian is approaching from either side of the vehicle. Other features include teen driver technology, an HD rear vision camera, and eight occupant-sensing airbags.
