How the Cadillac CPO Warranty Works
Coverage runs in two steps. First, the original factory warranty stays with the car. Cadillac's new-vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty lasts 4 years or 50,000 miles from the date the car was first sold, whichever comes first. When you buy a certified Cadillac, whatever is left of that warranty continues.
Second, the Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty begins once the original coverage ends. It adds one full year with no mileage cap. If the original warranty has already expired when you buy, the one year starts on your purchase date. Cadillac describes this as up to 5 years of total coverage.
Here is an example. A 2023 Cadillac first sold in March 2023 with 30,000 miles today keeps its factory coverage until March 2027 or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. After that, the CPO warranty covers it for one more year.
Cadillac's factory Powertrain Limited Warranty is listed at 6 years or 70,000 miles. It also transfers to you if it is still active. Ask us for the in-service date on any car, and we will show you what coverage is left.
Inside the 172-Point Inspection
Our technicians follow Cadillac's checklist. It covers the under-hood systems, the underside of the vehicle, the exterior, the interior, and a road test. Any scheduled maintenance that is due gets done before the car goes on sale.
