The 2024 Cadillac CT5-V sets the benchmark for luxury sedans. Building on the ever-popular CT5 model, the CT5-V cranks up the power, suspension, and steering systems to deliver two powerful models that easily rival their European counterparts. We look at each of the trim levels to help you decide which CT5-V best suits your lifestyle.

Trim Levels of the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V

1. CT5-V Base Trim

The base CT5-V is a nippy midsize luxury sedan that packs a punch. A 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 hides under the hood, delivering 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, powering this sporty Caddy from 0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds. The 10-speed automatic transmission provides smooth shift changes and the Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension ensures a smooth ride whatever the road surface.

Design Highlights

A sleek, up-market exterior features body-color handles, power-folding side mirrors, black gloss rocker moldings, LED head and taillamps, and 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a polished dark android finish.

Inside, the front performance bucket seats are four-way power-adjustable, the dual-zone automatic climate control ensures all occupants are comfortable, and ambient lighting lets you set the mood of the cabin.

Technology

Cadillac has equipped the CT5-V with high-end tech, including a Bose 15-speaker sound system and driver assist functions, such as a rearview camera, forward collision alert, front and rear park assist, and rear cross-traffic alert all included as standard.

2. CT5-V Blackwing

Cadillac builds on the already outstanding CT5-V to deliver an even more extraordinary vehicle: the Blackwing. Extreme performance comes from the more powerful 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine and the six-speed manual transmission, which produce a whopping 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. All this extra power means the Blackwing shoots out the starting blocks to reach 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds.

Comfort-Enhanced Interior

Leather upholstery greets you as you enter the Blackwing, adding to the luxurious feel. The heated and ventilated front seats feature a power lumber massage system to keep you energized on long journeys. Even the steering wheel receives an upgrade, as it’s now heated, wrapped in high-performance Modena leather, and mounted on a power tilt and telescoping steering column.

Technology Upgrades

Caddy has swapped out the rearview camera for HD surround vision cameras with a record function, allowing you to record, store, and watch the captured video. Information is delivered to the driver via a 12-inch HD configurable cluster or head-up display, and a navigation package is equipped as standard.

There is loads to love about both the CT5-V trims, from the impressive handling of the base model to the blistering power of the Blackwing. Still can’t decide between the two.
