1. U.S. Egg Breakfast & Lunch Old Town Scottsdale
A traditional American diner, this venue has been family owned and operated for more than 35 years. They make their food from scratch, and they are especially known for their protein pancakes. Try them filled with wild Maine blueberries, homemade granola, or cinnamon. We also like the Idaho hot skillets, the spinach and mushroom omelet, the eggs benedict, and the huevos rancheros. You can also create your own omelet.
The kids will like the chocolate chip or banana pancakes, the junior French toast, or the junior triple play. Start with a glass of fresh-squeezed orange or grapefruit juice, chocolate milk, or a strawberry smoothie. Pancake choices include Swedish, Oreo cookie s’mores, apple cinnamon pecan caramel, berry bliss, gluten-free, and more. We also recommend their crepes, like Nutella or blueberry.
They also have scramblers, waffles, skillets, omelets, benedicts, and more. For the children, order the French toast sticks, mini cakes, the one-egg meal, a grilled cheese, or chicken fingers. 3. Isabella’s Kitchen
Dine inside or outside at this beautiful establishment, located on a golf course. You can choose from dishes like salads, pizza, pasta, fish, steak, and sandwiches. Start with the meat and cheese board or the bruschetta. We also like the Margherita or the veggie pizza, though the kids might prefer a pepperoni pie. Other good choices include the pulled-pork sliders, the Chipotle quinoa bowl, or the grilled salmon.
